Effective date: January 1, 2026. These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the website at lagunabeachmasonry.com and your engagement with services provided by Laguna Beach Masonry.
By using this website or requesting services from Laguna Beach Masonry, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use this website or engage our services. We reserve the right to update these terms at any time. Continued use of the website or our services after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
Laguna Beach Masonry provides residential and commercial masonry services including, but not limited to, foundation repair, chimney repair, tuckpointing, brick repair, retaining wall construction, masonry restoration, fireplace installation, stone and brick work, driveway pavers, walkway construction, and related services. All work is performed in Laguna Beach, CA and surrounding communities. Services are subject to availability and at our sole discretion.
Estimates provided by Laguna Beach Masonry are based on an on-site assessment of conditions at the time of the visit. All estimates are valid for 30 days from the date of issue unless otherwise stated in writing.
Estimates are not final contracts. The final price is confirmed in a written agreement signed by both parties before work begins. If conditions are discovered during the course of work that differ materially from those assessed at the time of the estimate - such as concealed structural damage, deterioration not visible at the surface, or site access complications - we will notify you before proceeding and provide a revised cost in writing.
Prices on this website, if shown, are for general informational purposes only and do not constitute a binding quote for any specific project.
Scheduling is confirmed when both parties have signed a written agreement and any required deposit has been received. We make every effort to begin and complete work on the agreed schedule. However, delays may occur due to weather conditions, permit processing times, material availability, or other factors outside our control. We will notify you as promptly as possible if a delay is anticipated.
If you need to reschedule or cancel a confirmed project, please notify us as soon as possible. Cancellations made after materials have been ordered or work has begun may result in charges for materials and labor incurred up to that point. The specific terms for cancellation will be outlined in your written agreement.
Laguna Beach Masonry reserves the right to reschedule or decline work under conditions that present a safety risk to crew members or would result in work that does not meet our quality standards.
Payment terms are specified in the written agreement for each project. In general, a deposit may be required before work begins, with the remaining balance due upon completion of the work unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Accepted payment methods will be outlined in your written agreement. Invoices not paid by the due date may be subject to late fees as specified in that agreement. Laguna Beach Masonry reserves the right to suspend or terminate work on a project if payment obligations are not met.
All prices are in US dollars. You are responsible for any applicable taxes or permit fees associated with your project unless otherwise specified in writing.
Certain masonry and structural work requires building permits issued by the applicable local authority, such as the City of Laguna Beach. Where permits are required, Laguna Beach Masonry will apply for and obtain the necessary permits on your behalf unless otherwise agreed. The cost of permits is typically passed through to the client and will be identified in the written estimate. Work will not begin until required permits are in place. You are responsible for ensuring that your property complies with any homeowners association rules, deed restrictions, or other private agreements that may affect the scope of work.
Laguna Beach Masonry stands behind the quality of its work. Any workmanship warranty applicable to your project will be stated in your written agreement. Warranty coverage is limited to defects in workmanship and does not cover damage resulting from events outside our control, including but not limited to: seismic activity, flooding, soil movement unrelated to the repaired area, improper maintenance after completion, or changes to drainage or grading made by others after the work is finished.
To the extent permitted by law, Laguna Beach Masonry makes no warranties beyond those expressly stated in the written agreement. This website and its contents are provided on an "as is" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Laguna Beach Masonry shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or relating to the use of this website or the performance of services, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
Our total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to services provided shall not exceed the total amount paid by you for the specific project giving rise to the claim.

If direct resolution is not possible, disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration conducted in Laguna Beach, CA, in accordance with the rules of a mutually agreed arbitration provider. Nothing in this clause prevents either party from seeking injunctive or other equitable relief in a court of competent jurisdiction where appropriate.
